SUFFOLK SELDEN'S MASEM NAMED REGION 15 VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF YEAR FOR SECOND YEAR IN A ROW
The Region 15 Volleyball Coaches selected their All Region Team this past weekend and for the second year in a row, Suffolk Community College Selden's Kirsten Masem was named Player of the Year. The dominant outside hitter has helped lead her squad to a perfect 16-0 record in the region and to the #1 seed entering the 2007 playoffs. Last season the Clippers took the 2006 Region 15 title and earned a trip to Rochester Minnesota for the NJCAA Division III Volleyball Championships and they hope to return this year as well. Coach Peggy Roda of Orange received Coach of the Year honors.
