In their first match at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III National Volleyball Championship in Rochester Mn, Region 15 school Nassau Community College and 6th seed faced 3rd seed Madison Area Technical College.

Nassau CC stayed with the Wolfpack the first set but were never able to take the lead and lost the set 19-25. In the second set Nassau CC tied the set at 20-20 before losing 22-25. In the 3rd set, Nassau stayed within 3 points most of the set but Madison surged at the end of the set and won 25-19, handing Nassau a 0-3 loss.
