Game 3 - Women's Semi-Final
# 3 - Nassau 37, # 2 - Suffolk 54
In a first half headlined with numerous lead changes, the Clippers managed to find their shooting touch in the second half to best Island rival Nassau, 54-37. Leading the second half surge for Suffolk was sophomore guard Jasime Dyson. The Southampton graduate tallied a game-high 16 points. Freshman Ashley Drumgole tossed in 10 points for the Clippers. Ashley Jackson and Tolighlia Archer each scored nine points for Nassau. The Clippers now take on host Westchester in Wednesday's final at 5pm at Westchester's Valhalla campus.
Game 4 - Women's Semi-Final
# 4 - Bor. of Manhattan 50, # 1 - Westchester 76
The top seeded Lady Westcos' 76-50 win proved the seeding was accurate as they will host second-seeded Suffolk in Tomorrow's title contest at 5pm. Region XV Division III "Player-of-the-Year" Prosha Postall continued her season-long domination of Region XV opponents. Against BMCC, the talented transfer from Kentucky, led all scorers with 26 points. Her teammate Jessica Biggs added nine points in the victory. Leading the scoring category for BMCC was sophomore Latoya Lee. The Queens native had 25 points in the loss.
