The 40th Annual National Junior College Athletic Association National Bowling Championships were held March 5-6 at AMF Thruway Lanes in Buffalo New York.

Region 15 school Suffolk Community College - Michael J. Grant women's squad placed 5th in the nation and Nassau Community College men's team came in 4th.

Also honored was Nassau Community College athlete, Joe Calvao, who was 3rd in the Men's Singles with a 705 score.
