Monroe Woodbury graduate Colby Lewis leads the field of 88 golfers after three rounds at the NJCAA National Golf Tournament at the Chautauqua Golf Course in Chautauqua, New York. Lewis, a Rockland CC sophomore, fired a third-round score of 70, which was 2-under par, on Thursday. In Tuesday's opening round he shot an even-par 72, followed by a second round score of 76. Heading into Friday's final round, Lewis has totaled a 218, which is one stroke ahead of Monroe Community College's (Rochester, NY) Shane Dobesh. SUNY Orange's Scott McWatters is currently tied for 14th with a 231 after scores of 75-77-79. Westchester's Anthony Siguil is tied for 78th with a combined score of 265. Siguil however improved his game by seven strokes after a third-round score of 81. The final round begins Friday at 9am.
